Mercado collects the information needed to operate a street food marketplace, including account information, profile details, menu content, order information, payment-related metadata, and support communications.

Payment details are processed by Stripe. Mercado does not store full card numbers. Vendors who connect payouts may be asked by Stripe for bank and identity verification information required by financial regulations.

Mercado uses collected data to provide ordering, vendor discovery, account administration, customer support, fraud prevention, and payout coordination.
